How do I install my password?

Run $XRTHOME/bin/xrtpasswd. Please see the XRT Release and Installation notes.

Is it necessary to re-install XRT after using the evaluation version?

Since the evaluation version is identical to the full product, it is not necessary to re-install. To continue using XRT after the evaluation period, it is only necessary to install a permanent password.

Multiple-CPU machines

XRT is not dependent on the number of processors.

"This application is built with a disabled..."

You need to authorize your executable. Please lookup "xrt_auth" in your XRT product manual. For your convenience, we suggest you include the xrt_auth step in your Makefile.

"No XRT libraries found."

There are no libraries in the executable you are trying to authorize. It's not that there's anything wrong with your license, but you might not have linked any XRT libraries into this executable.

"Can't open your_executable for update."

Either you don't have read permissions on your_executable or your executable does not exist. Please make sure you are trying to access a valid executable. If you are using HP-UX, you may have to "touch" a newly made executable.

"Can't access /dev/lan, /dev/lan0 or /dev/lan1."

Make sure you have read permission to your lan device. XRT licensing software needs that information to authorize your executable.
